The action was very light on Sunday, but almost every team in winter ball has off on Monday, so there’s no use saving this information for another day. While only three Pittsburgh Pirates players saw action on Sunday, we had some news out of Puerto Rico, where the league is still shut down due to a COVID outbreak. Luckily for the league, everyone involved in the league had to be vaccinated first, so despite 39 reported cases, news from the league said that just a small handful of those players were experiencing any symptoms, and all were mild. We will have a new player to follow this upcoming Sunday (December 26th) in Puerto Rico, as Roberto Perez is scheduled to start playing.
