In Puerto Rico, catcher Roberto Perez played his first game since signing a free agent deal with the Pirates. He went 0-for-3 with a walk as the DH.
In Mexico, Randy Romero played his fourth playoff game and he went 0-for-4 at the plate. He was 1-for-10 with two walks coming into the day. His team swept the first round of the playoffs, which wrapped up on Sunday night.
