OK, OK, so you think preseason rankings don't mean anything? Well, I'm here to tell you that you're right. And wrong.
Of course, preseason rankings really don't mean anything when it comes to trying to determine how a team will fare in a given year. Teams have to earn -- and keep earning -- their rankings as the season goes on, and there have been plenty of instances where a team was expected to be good and then stunk it up.
