The Pittsburgh Pirates Short Season-A affiliate, the West Virginia Black Bears, wrapped up their third home series of the season Monday night. The Black Bears played host to the Batavia Muckdogs, the Short-Season A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. The Black Bears entered the series with a record of 6-8, while the Muckdogs came into the series with 3-11 record.
Game 1
Game one resulted in an 4-1 loss for the Black Bears. Logan Hill led the way with three hits including a triple. Ty Moore had one hit and the lone RBI for the Black Bears.
