There were maybe a couple hundred people hanging around a soggy PNC Park late Monday night/Tuesday morning, hoping/thinking the Pirates would finally manage to push a run across against the last place Brewers. Weird stuff happens when the ballpark is empty like that (after over two hours of rain delays) and a comeback would have been really fun for those that were there. But nothing happened. It wound up being a depressing 2-0 loss, filled with terrible at bats as soon as any runners managed to reach base, and wasting a strong start by A.J. Burnett.
