Altoona made the post-season this year, winning a Wild Card spot, but going on to lose to Bowie in the playoffs in a best of five series. They made the playoffs on the strength of a very prospect-rich team throughout the year. That started with two of the best prospects in the system at the beginning of the year -- Tyler Glasnow and Josh Bell -- and continued in the second half, with guys like Austin Meadows, Steve Brault, and other players making their way up from Bradenton. The Altoona team also saw a lot of breakout performances, including our breakout position player of the year in Max Moroff.
