According to Altoona manager Kieran Mattison, as reported by Jarrod Prugar, the Pittsburgh Pirates have promoted right-handed pitchers Noe Toribio and Travis MacGregor to Triple-A Indianapolis.
We had recent features here on both Toribio and MacGregor, after both showed extended runs of success in the long relief role. Both are former starters excelling with slightly less work and new pitches in their arsenal. Toribio added a splitter, while MacGregor added a cutter (see links for details).
