Tyler Glasnow is 6-foot-8, all arms and legs. Harnessing those limbs presents a challenge at times. But when he whirled to his left in the top of the seventh inning Wednesday night, he presented a crisp, polished pickoff move that, according to Josh Bell and the replay, got Eddie Rosario, thought the “safe” call stood.
“I feel like if he puts it on the money, we have a chance every time, especially if guys are running or leaning that way,” Bell said. “He throws so hard, he’s got that quick arm stroke over there. I like it and I know it’s going to play.
