The Pirates could probably get Neil Walker pretty cheap

It’s been a weird offseason in baseball. Top free agents remain unsigned with less than a month to go before opening day, and journeymen have been settling for surprisingly cheap deals.

Neil Walker is twisting in the wind between those two camps. The former Pirates second baseman and Pine-Richland graduate still doesn’t have a home for 2018, and the Boston Globe’s Nick Cafardo reported Sunday that there’s a good reason for that — he’s getting some really bad offers.
