Sullivan signs three-year contract extension through 2026-27 season

It was all but set in stone that Mike Sullivan would be the one to man the Penguins' bench through the end of the Sidney Crosby era. That is, until now.

The Penguins have signed Sullivan to a three-year contract extension that kicks in at the end of the 2023-24 season and runs through the 2026-27 season, it was announced on Monday by Ron Hextall.

Hextall isn't letting another first-round postseason exit cloud his perception of Sullivan, and reiterated that he believes Sullivan is one of the best in the business at what he does.
