The Steelers will open the 2022 season at Paul Brown Stadium against the defending AFC Champion Bengals the NFL announced today.
The game will be played at 1 p.m. Sept. 11 according to the schedule the league released in advance of revealing its entire slate at 8 p.m. today. Cincinnati swept the Steelers in 2021, the first time the Bengals had done so since the 2009 season.
The Steelers' home opener will be Sept. 18 against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
The Steelers have the added bonus in this year's schedule of traveling the fewest miles with their schedule at 6,442 miles.
