The vast majority of the Steelers' week has been spent addressing several needs in free agency. Now, they've added to their coaching staff.
The Steelers are set to hire Jason Brooks as a defensive assistant on Mike Tomlin's staff. The team has yet to officially announce the hiring.
Since 2021, Brooks had been the assistant defensive line coach in his second stint with the Ravens under John Harbaugh. He had just finished the final year of his contract. Brooks is the son of Clarence Brooks, who served as an assistant coach for four different NFL franchises, including the Ravens from 2005-16.
