The MLB draft has always been the biggest event for this site. That seems like a pretty obvious thing for a site called Pirates Prospects, since this event can add 30-35+ new prospects to the system. But aside from the obvious, the draft holds a special significance around here.
The very first draft we covered was in 2009. That was the first year the site was around, and at that point it was just me. The site generally saw about 200-300 page views per day, and maybe a little more. We saw a record 676 page views on the first day of the draft.
