The Pirates will begin their first trip to the west coast on Tuesday as they begin a three game set against the Padres in San Diego. The Bucs are seeking their third straight win, as they sit in a second place tie in the NL Central. The Padres on the other hand have struggled this season, winning on four of their first 13 games. Team hitting especially has been bad for the Padres. In fact, they did not score a run in their entire opening series against the Dodger a couple weeks ago.
