After taking two of three from the Atlanta Braves, the Pittsburgh Pirates head northwest this weekend to go another round with the Milwaukee Brewers. The Bucs will look to rebound from last week’s 3-1 series loss to the Brew Crew at PNC Park.
During that series, the Pirates scored an average of six runs in four games, which would normally signify dominance. However, the pitching staff was a cluster and gave up around eight runs per game to Milwaukee.
In the series against the Braves, both the offense and the pitching staff looked pretty much the same after a 12-5 opening game loss.
