Searage tossed during 4th-inning mound visit

CHICAGO -- Pirates pitching coach Ray Searage was ejected during a fourth-inning mound visit Saturday against the Cubs.

Searage came out to talk with starting pitcher Jeff Locke, who had just walked Ben Zobrist after surrendering a three-run home run to Anthony Rizzo that put the Pirates down, 3-2.

Before Rizzo's home run, Kris Bryant came back from an 0-2 count to work a walk on a close ball-four call, and Zobrist walked to end a seven-pitch at-bat.

Home-plate umpire Brian Knight walked to the mound to end the visit, and words were exchanged before Searage was tossed.
