NEW YORK -- Chad Kuhl was looking to bounce back Tuesday night, after recording his shortest outing of the season on Thursday, lasting just two innings in a loss to the D-backs. But it was not his night. Though the offense eventually came alive for the Pirates, the Mets outlasted Pittsburgh to post a 4-3 walk-off win in the 10th inning.
The Pirates have lost five of the last six games that Kuhl has started.
In the first inning, Kuhl gave up a hit, a walk and threw two wild pitches that advanced Mets baserunners into scoring position.
