The Pirates announced Sunday that they have placed OF Gorkys Hernandez on the 15 day DL, for experiencing left shoulder discomfort. They have called up reliever Wilfredo Boscan from AAA Indianapolis. Boscan is 6-3, with a 3.82 ERA this season in Indy.
