PITTSBURGH -- Nick Kingham got it done on the mound and at the plate on Sunday as the Pirates ended a five-game losing skid with a 4-1 victory over the Phillies at PNC Park.
Kingham bounced back from a rough outing against the Dodgers by allowing just one earned run on four hits while striking out five over six innings to earn his third win. He also ended a streak of five consecutive games the Pirates had lost when he started.
Working with a one-run lead in the fourth inning thanks Josh Harrison's RBI single in the second frame, Kingham threw an 84.
