For the second year in a row, Bryan Reynolds has been named a finalist for a Silver Slugger.
The Pirates' center fielder may not have been able to match his 2021 campaign offensively, but still remained one of the top hitting outfielders in the National League. He slashed .262/.345/.461 with 27 home runs, 62 RBIs and a 126 OPS+.
Those 27 homers are a new career high.
"I don't necessarily think I made any power changes," Reynolds said at the end of the season. "Just feels like every ball I hit hard was either an out or a single right at an outfielder.
