Bryan Reynolds continued his hot streak at the plate albeit in a 5-4 loss to the Cardinals Saturday night at PNC Park.
His 2-for-4 night pushed his average to .231 up 29 points in the last five games dating back to May 2, in Chicago where his average bottomed out at .202. Since then, he's 7-for-15 for a .467 average.
Saturday night's performance demonstrated his power and his ability to turn in good at bats regardless of the outcome. While not every plate appearance has resulted in a positive outcome, they continue to get better.
