MINNEAPOLIS -- Hot-hitting Gregory Polanco had to be removed in the middle of Wednesday afternoon's game with the Twins, complaining of "discomfort in the left knee."
Polanco exited as the game went to the bottom of the fourth inning, after going 0-for-2. He had contributed to the final out of the bottom of the third, fielding Miguel Sano's RBI single and firing hard to the cutoff man to initiate a successful rundown of Cano.
