When PNC Park opened in 2001, there was a lot of excited chatter about the Pirates’ potential to take advantage of its “short porch” in right field. The 21-foot Clemente Wall is just 320 feet down the line from home plate, and the theory went that a lefty-heavy lineup could bombard it for a healthy number of cheap homers.

Enter outfielder Corey Dickerson and third baseman Colin Moran.
