As the 2019 season winds down, the Pittsburgh Pirates continue to be a big help for teams in postseason berth. Following a 10-1 loss against the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday night, the Pirates are now 1-6 this month against teams that are in postseason contention.
With the loss, the Pirates have now lost the first two games of their final road series of the season. This was also their 8th loss in a row, and they are now 21-45 since the All-Star Break. This plummet has dropped the team to 65-90 overall on the season giving them their first 90 loss season since 2011.
