Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there was a time when the odds of there being a 2020 MLB season looked bleak. With no light at the end of the COVID-19 tunnel, it appeared we may not get to watch the Pittsburgh Pirates play baseball again until 2021.
However, things now appear to be trending in the other direction. Which each passing day there appears to be growing confidence that there will be a 2020 MLB season in some capacity.
MLB has discussed a few different ideas for a potential modified 2020 season. The latest of which would feature three 10 team divisions, according to Bob Nightengale of the USA Today.
