Last week, the Pittsburgh Pirates and the rest of Major League Baseball took part in the annual Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. The Bucs had the 18th overall pick to go along with three other picks on the first day of the Draft.
The Bucs have already signed their first-round pick Quinn Priester. They took Priester with the 18th overall selection, which came with a slot allotment of $3.48 million. The Bucs signed Priester for $3.40 million, saving them $80,000 against their draft bonus pool.
As of last night, the Pittsburgh Pirates have signed a few more of their top picks.
