The Pittsburgh Pirates have announced a minor league deal (with an invite to ST) with INF Nick Franklin.

The Pittsburgh Pirates today agreed to terms on a minor league contract with infielder Nick Franklin, which includes an invitation to big league camp.
The 27-year-old Franklin was originally selected by Seattle in the first round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft (27th pick overall) and has appeared in 301 Major League games since making his debut in 2013. He has made 143 appearances at second base, 37 in left field, 30 at shortstop, 19 at first base, 11 in right field and one at third base during his career with the Mariners (2013-14), Rays (2014-16), Brewers (2017-18) and Angels (2017).
