With the Pittsburgh Pirates recent bullpen struggles, Neal Huntington went out and claimed Enny Romero off of waivers from the Washington Nationals:
The @Pirates have claimed LHP Enny Romero off waivers from the Nats. He will report to the major league club within the next 72 hours.
No corresponding move has been announced, that will come when Romero reports to the Pirates, but Dovydas Neverauskas or Richard Rodriguez will likely be the player sent back down to Triple-A Indianapolis.
Romero has pitched parts of five innings in the big leagues, originally coming up in the Tampa Bay Rays organization and most recently with the Washington Nationals.
