Draft Pick Update
The Pittsburgh Pirates have one unsigned draft pick remaining from the top fifteen rounds. The lone remaining player is fifth round pick LHP Brandon Waddell from the University of Virginia.
Why am I telling you this? The reason he remains unsigned is because the University of Virginia is currently battling Vanderbilt for the College World Series finals. With the series tied at one, the Virginia Cavaliers will send Brandon Waddell to the mound with the national title on the line in the third and final game on Wednesday Night at 8 PM on ESPN.
