Everyone thought the Pittsburgh Pirates had a pretty wild offseason. The team got about a month into the offseason when they found out they would be hiring a new team President and General Manager. This was after they fired some members of the coaching staff, including Manager Clint Hurdle. Then, there were all the hirings that took place followed up by the trading away of Starling Marte.
Overall, it was an interesting offseason for the Pittsburgh Pirates and fans were ready to see what the new staff could bring as Spring Training got underway.
