After dropping 9 games in a row, the Pittsburgh Pirates have won a game! On Tuesday night, the Pirates were 11-4 winners against the Cincinnati Reds to snap their skid. This was just their 3rd victory in 18 games since the All-Star Break, and it improved the team’s overall record this season to 47-60.
The Pirates did something they have not done much of lately when they scored first.
Bryan Reynolds doubled with one out in the top of the 1st inning and Starling Marte reached on an infield hit. Josh Bell then smoked a 98.
