The Pittsburgh Pirates acquired right-handed pitcher Bryse Wilson from the Atlanta Braves for reliever Richard Rodriguez at the trade deadline. Since coming over in the trade, Wilson has pitched 40.1 innings in eight games. In those 40.1 innings he has a 4.91 ERA and 5.34 FIP with a 13.6 percent strikeout rate and 5.9 percent walk rate. He entered the season as the Braves number nine prospect with a Future Value grade of 45 per FanGraphs.
