Pitt's game against a Duke team that hadn't won in the ACC had the makings of being a classic letdown game that out a disappointing loss on a promising season with Pitt still in control of its destiny to win the ACC Coastal division.
But Kenny Pickett and Jordan Addison were having none of that, as the Panthers shook off a rocky start to finish with a 54-29 win at Wallace Wade Stadium Saturday.
Pitt came out starting the game strong by recovering a fumble on Duke's first drive before Pickett finished a drive with a 10-yard touchdown pass to Jared Wayne.
