Pirates utilityman Jared Triolo wins first NL Gold Glove Award

For the third time in four years, a Pittsburgh Pirates player has won a Gold Glove.

On Sunday, Rawlings recognized Pirates second/third baseman Jared Triolo with his first-career Gold Glove Award. Triolo earned the golden honor as a utility player, an additional Gold Glove category added for the 2022 MLB season.

Triolo is the first Pirate to win the utility Gold Glove and primarily played third base for the Bucs with Ke’Bryan Hayes injured.
