The Pittsburgh Pirates made Konnor Griffin their first-round pick last season, and while he likely isn’t going to play for the big league club in 2025, he is still impressing in Bradenton.
MLB.com reporter Alex Stumpf named Griffin as the player making the biggest impression in Spring Training.
Griffin never had a chance of making the Opening Day team and has already been reassigned to Minor League camp, but the 2024 first-round pick opened eyes this spring, whether it was making diving catches in the outfield or going deep earlier this month.
