Pirates sign outfielder Trayvon Robinson to minor league deal

According to Pirates Prospects, the Pirates have signed outfielder Trayvon Robinson to a minor league deal. The 31-year-old Robinson is a former top 100 prospect who managed just a 215/272/330 line in 90 games with Seattle way back in 2011-12. He’s played with, well, a huge number of minor league teams in a career that dates back to 2015. Over the last three years, Robinson has been in independent ball, batting 295/382/442 in the Atlantic League in 2018.

I’m guessing Robinson is most likely to be at Altoona in 2019, as the Curve won’t be getting much help from last year’s weak Bradenton team.
