According to multiple National entities, the Pirates have signed free-agent RHP Neftali Feliz to a one year deal. Jon Heyman was one of the first to report the signing:
The 27 year-old is certainly an interesting signing, and fits quite nicely into the Pirates mold of nabbing guys that have had "great moments in the past, but disastrous results most recently". He was released by the Rangers during last season and finished the campaign with the Tigers. His numbers quite frankly were really bad: 6.38 ERA, 64 ERA +, 1.563 WHIP. He appeared in 48 games last season with the two clubs, and picked up ten saves.
