The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed 31-year-old left-handed pitcher Josh Outman, who has spent parts of six seasons in the majors. Outman has a career 4.43 ERA in 274.1 innings, making 32 starts and 129 relief appearances. He last pitched in the majors in 2014, pitching 40 games in relief split between the Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees. He spent the 2015 season pitching in the minors for the Braves. This year, Outman was pitching for the New Britain Bees of the Atlantic League, where he had a 4.23 ERA in 14 starts. He will report to Indianapolis....
