The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed outfielder Antoan Richardson to a minor league deal according to Jon Heyman. The 32-year-old has seen action in parts of two seasons in the majors, making his debut with the 2011 Atlanta Braves, then getting into 13 games for the 2014 New York Yankees. He was in the Texas Rangers system in 2015, seeing very limited time due to back surgery he had in March.
Richardson has a career .395 OBP and 328 stolen bases since being draft by the Giants in the 35th round of the 2005 draft. Most of his outfield time has been spent in center field.
