The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed 11th round pick Max Kranick. No word on the details of the deal. You can view his player page here. The 18-year-old, 6'3", 200 pound right-hander can touch 95 with his fastball and shows a lot of promise with both his changeup and curve. He is from Valley View HS, in Archbald, Pa.
