The second of three players acquired by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Jacob Stallings trade has been released, according to reports.
Jarrod Prugar of the Altoona Mirror announced Tuesday evening that outfielder Connor Scott was granted his release by the Pirates. He was acquired from the Miami Marlins in the aforementioned trade along with Zach Thompson and current Pirates reliever Kyle Nicolas in late 2021.
