The Pittsburgh Pirates made another pitching change prior to Thursday night’s game against the Chicago Cubs. Relief pitcher Yerry De Los Santos has been recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis. He is replacing Colin Holderman, who was placed on the 15-day Injured List.
Holderman was having a solid season until his last four appearances. He has a 4.01 ERA, a 1.50 WHIP, a 3.44 FIP and 28 strikeouts in 24.2 innings this season. His last four outings have seen him allow 12 base runners over three innings.
De Los Santos was briefly with the Pirates earlier this month.
