The Pittsburgh Pirates recalled outfielder Christopher Bostick for Tuesday's game. With the trades made today sending Tyler Glasnow and Austin Meadows to Tampa, no other move needs to be made to open a roster spot. Both Chris Archer and Keone Kela have time to report to the team and once they do, then they will be added to the active roster.
Bostick is hitting .295/.351/.436 in 78 games with Indianapolis this season. He's among the league leaders with 24 doubles. Bostick has played second base, third base and shortstop in the past, but he's been in the outfield this season.
