It’s not often that you can walk away from a game where the offense only picked up four hits and have anything positive to say but there was something of note when it comes to Saturday’s Greensboro Grasshoppers game.
Three of those four hits were picked up by the team’s starting outfield – Hudson Head, Sammy Siani, and Tres Gonzalez.
All three were singles, and Greensboro was shutout – so at the end of the day it doesn’t mean much – but it is a reminder that when it comes to position groups in the system, the Grasshoppers outfield is one of the more intriguing ones.
