Thomas Harrington looks like he’s settling in at the Triple-A level. The right-hander allowed one run on two hits in six innings, carrying a perfect game through five innings. Harrington didn’t issue a walk, and struck out six.
The secondary stuff was working for Harrington. He had five whiffs on ten swings against his curveball, with six called strikes for a 42% called and swinging strike rate. His sweeper had two whiffs and two called strikes for a 33% CSW on 12 pitches. The slider had three called strikes for a 30% CSW.
Harrington’s fastball wasn’t as effective as his other pitches, getting three whiffs on 20 swings and five called strikes for a 22% CSW.
