Mike Burrows allowed one run in four innings in his latest start for Indianapolis.
The outing represented a bounce-back for Burrows, who is returning this year from Tommy John surgery. Burrows has been back-and-forth with his outings during his return. He allowed two runs in 1.2 innings last time out. That followed five shutout innings. The start before that saw him give up four runs in 3.1 innings. And before that, he allowed one run in four innings.
It can be common for pitchers returning from Tommy John to have consistency issues in their return. The good thing for Burrows is that he keeps bouncing back with good outings.
