Pittsburgh Pirates outfield prospect Matt Gorski is on a hitting tear. Gorski has hit five home runs since May 16th, including hitting two in a massive 18-6 win for the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians on Tuesday night.
Gorski went 3-for-6, knocking in five runs on his two homer night. This is the third game in a row that he’s hit a home run. He’s been hitting well during the month of May, batting .313/.352/.750, with the five home runs.
On the season, Gorski is batting .278/.310/.574. He has plus power, but has dealt with strikeout issues, limiting his ability to get on base.
