Pirates Prospect Watch: Five Standouts From the Spring Breakout Game

The Pittsburgh Pirates took on the Philadelphia Phillies in the second annual Spring Breakout game on Friday, putting the prospects of each organization against each other on MLB Network.

While the game had the televised feel of a real game, it allowed backfield rules to take place. This was on display with Anthony Solometo, who was removed early in the third inning, due to a high pitch count. After fellow lefty Nick Dombkowski got out of the frame, Solometo returned in the fourth inning, putting up a much cleaner result.

The only rule in the backfields is that development time trumps every other rule of the game.
