Malcom Nunez and Jack Suwinski combined for seven hits in the middle of the Indianapolis lineup on Monday, leading the Triple-A squad to a 12-1 victory.
Nunez went 4-for-5 with his 19th double of the season. Suwinski went 3-for-5 with a walk and two doubles, giving him six on the year in Triple-A.
In the first inning, Nunez put Indianapolis on the board with an RBI single. Suwinski added another run in the third with an RBI double. The game was broken open in the fifth. Suwinski hit a two RBI double, making the score 4-1. Nunez followed with his double, extending the lead to 6-1.
