MILWAUKEE — Not long before reporting to Miller Park to begin his first stint on a major league roster, Elias Diaz was in Class AAA Indianapolis manager Dean Treanor’s office, jumping up and down.
“I made it,” Diaz was saying then. “I made it.”
Diaz was one of six players — five promoted from Indianapolis, one activated off the disabled list — that the Pirates added to their active roster Tuesday. The Pirates also added outfielders Jaff Decker and Travis Snider, left-hander Bobby LaFromboise and right-hander Radhames Liz.
